When a cosmetic product is placed on the market, theresponsible person shall keep a product information file (PIF) for it. The product information file (PIF) shall be kept for a period of ten yearsfollowing the date on which the last batch of the cosmetic product was placed on the market.
The CPNP is the online notification system created for the implementation of the European cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. According to Article 13, it is required that the responsible person (and under certain circumstances the distributors of cosmetics) submit through the CPNP information about the products they place or make available on the European market.
We compile the Product Information File (PIF) and notify the product in the CPNP portal (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal, the online notification system created for the implementation of Regulation EC No.1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products.
