QACS Lab’s History
2002
QACS (Quality Assurance & Quality Control Systems) was founded by two experienced chemists in QA and QC. Based in Greece, the lab provides testing services to industrial, private, and public sectors. From its foundation, QACS has operated under GMP for cosmetics, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.
2004
QACS acquired ISO 17025 accreditation, reinforcing its commitment to reliable, high-quality laboratory testing according to international standards.
2007
The lab received GMP certification for pharmaceutical testing, covering both human and veterinary products and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
2008
QACS expanded internationally and joined several global organizations, strengthening its expertise in providing QA/QC solutions to the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
2011
QACS was certified under ISO 9001 for the regulatory compliance services offered in the areas of cosmetics, medical devices and biocides.
2015
GLP compliance was achieved for in vitro skin and ocular irritation tests. QACS also acquired ERGANAL, a historic QC lab offering accredited food and environmental testing services.
2018
The lab launched a GMP assessment project aligned with FDA requirements, continuing its focus on quality management system certifications.
2022
QACS provides GLP-certified toxicological studies for medicines, cosmetics, medical devices, disinfectants, and chemicals. The lab operates a fully organized GLP testing facility.
2023
QACS achieved ISO 27001 certification, ensuring robust information security and data protection across all operations. As part of its growth strategy, QACS acquired AG. EN. T Laboratories, bringing over 20 years of expertise in chemical and residue testing of food products and expanding its range of analytical services.
2025
The lab gained BSL-2 certification for moderate-risk infectious agents. QACS also expanded in Northern Greece through a collaboration with Aliment Lab, broadening its food and cosmetics testing and regulatory services.
Today
Today, QACS offers Laboratory Testing services to the Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biocides and Food industries. The Lab has a GLP compliant, ISO 17025 accredited, GMP / ISO 9001 certified, FDA registered quality management system and provides Microbiological – Chemical – Molecular Testing & Regulatory solutions worldwide.
