Microorganism Identification at species level is mandatory for microorganisms detected in grade A zone and grade B area according to Annex 1 V12.

What we do

At QACS Lab we perform accredited (ISO 17025, GMP) Microbial Identification testing at species level using DNA technology or matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight (MALDI TOF MS). Recognized as the most reliable for the classification of microorganisms, MALDI TOF or DNA identification presents a reliability advantage over other methods e.g. APIs that are metabolic or other immunochemical methods. Identification includes bacteria, yeasts and fungi. The team of our expert Molecular Microbiologists has processed more than 50.000 environmental samples and have over 30 years of experience on microbial identification.

Furthermore, a distinctive feature of QACS Lab is the inclusion of not only the accurate micro-organism species name but also comprehensive details on its ecology, classification, growth conditions, and potential pathogenicity.
